Declaration

I acknowledge the use of term Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and Trademark as follows:
Toowoomba Regional Council has three (3) trademarks relating to the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers event registered in Australia and New Zealand. These trademarks are:
        (i) The event name – Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers;
        (ii) The logo; and
        (iii) The acronym (and domain name) – TCOF

The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers trademarks are registered trademarks of Toowoomba Regional Council that are protected by law to preserve the integrity of the design and to assist in ensuring that they are not misused in any way.
Any individual or organisation wishing to use any of these trademarks for any purpose must first obtain written authorisation from the office of Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers:

Permission to use the trademarks is not an endorsement of an event or initiative, but rather an acknowledgement that the event or initiative fits with the spirit of Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers community events. These guidelines apply to all users of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers’ trademarks. The use of the trademarks for any purpose without obtaining prior written authorisation from the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers office will be a breach of the Trade Marks Act, the Australian Consumer Law or passing off. Authorisation to use the trademarks does not imply endorsement of the aims or opinions of individuals and organisations and does not express or imply a funding commitment from Toowoomba Regional Council. Toowoomba Regional Council reserves its right to modify these guidelines, the terms and conditions for use of the trademarks - or to withdraw authorisation, at any time.

I understand and acknowledge that ‘Carnival of Flowers’ by itself and not prefaced with ‘Toowoomba’ is not to be used. The full, trademarked "Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers" must be used at all times.
